The Challenge season 41 premieres on Wednesday, July 30, with a new theme: Vets and New Threats.
Among those "Vets and New Threats," there are a couple of former (and current) Survivor players in the mix! That's pretty good representation, although there are 32 cast members on this season of The Challenge.
According to a report from Deadline, Michaela Bradshaw, who has competed on The Challenge twice, will return for season 41. Michaela will be competing against Survivor 45 winner and Survivor 50 player, Dee Valladares, and Sydney Segal of Survivor 41. Dee and Sydney are competing in The Challenge for the first time.
Of the three players, Dee is really the only surprise to me! It's kind of wild that she was able to do The Challenge season 41 and also Survivor 50. She's currently filming Survivor 50 right now, unless she got voted out in the first 10 days or so of the game. Production officially started on Survivor 50 on Friday, June 6.

There's one thing that's for sure. There has never been a better time to be a former Survivor player! All of these reality shows are scooping up these former players for the new seasons of other reality shows. Notably, three more Survivor players just joined the cast of The Traitors season 4, including Rob Cesternino, Natalie Anderson, and Yam Yam Arocho. Tyson Apostol is competing on a new show. Parvati Shallow has been crushing it on a number of shows! Boston Rob is always up for a new challenge.
Of the reality competition shows, The Challenge is the one that I'm the least familiar with, overall. I haven't seen a full season in a long time, but I'm a big fan of Dee and Michaela, so maybe I'll tune in! I don't think we've seen a Survivor player actually win The Challenge, though. Michele Fitzgerald came really close last season, though!
According to the report, you can actually watch a season preview episode on July 23, one week before the official season premiere.
MTV hasn't shared the full season release schedule just yet, but we should expect new episodes to air weekly. Sometimes, there can be breaks in the season, but that usually has to do with holidays, and I don't believe there are any holidays that interfere with the schedule.
